Organic Prairie Introduces Canadian Bacon and Smoked Turkey Sliced Deli Meats
Organic Prairie is offering a new way to bring home the bacon—and the turkey, for that matter—by extending its deli line to include Canadian Bacon and Smoked Turkey slices.
"The subtle smoke flavor in the turkey makes for a delicious and healthy lunch sandwich at home, school or work," said Tedd Heilmann, Organic Prairie general manager. Both varieties will be available in 6 oz. packs, and join Organic Prairie's existing line of sliced deli meats, which include Roast Beef, Roasted Turkey Breast, and Hardwood Smoked Uncured Ham.
All varieties of Organic Prairie sliced deli meats are processed without the use of sodium phosphate to increase water retention. "As a result, packages of our sliced deli meats contain more meat and less water than conventionally processed deli slices."
